Healthy Nutrition, Healthy Teeth

In 2018 choose to alter your diet. For healthy teeth, incorporate some leafy greens like spinach and kale into your diet. Don’t forget the peppers, citruses, celery, carrots, apples, onions and shiitake mushrooms. For additional teeth strength, some probiotics in form of milk, yogurt, and cheese are a must.

We can’t stress how important it is to floss. If you haven’t incorporated flossing into your daily oral hygiene routine then make that change this year. This way you can improve your dental health and make your dentist’s job easier.

Regular Check-Ups

Don’t wait for a dental emergency in order to pay a visit to your dentist! Patients with great dental hygiene visit their dentists at least twice a year. Those that are at high risk of dental disease, should visit more often, about every three to four months.

Finally, don’t forget to use a mouthwash every time you floss and brush your teeth. Fluoride mouthwash incorporates itself into the enamel of your teeth, thus making you less susceptible to cavities.
