Whether you are a Baltimore Raven’s Fan or a San Francisco 49er’s fan, you have one thing in common…the Harbaugh brothers, Jim (49er’s) and John (Ravens). In case you’ve been trapped under a rock for the past month, they are the head coaches for the 2 teams meeting in the Super Bowl this coming weekend. Their coaching styles are very similar: hard-nosed, motivational and passionate. They expect every single player to give it all on the field, just like their father Jack Harbaugh, who coached his team to numerous championships.

This has to be the most interesting and captivating story in NFL history. Brother vs brother in the most watched sporting event in the world. How can their parents even watch, knowing that the success of one son comes at the ultimate defeat of the other? This actually gives non-football fans a reason to watch the “Big Game” besides the commercials and peer pressure.

Both brothers are competitive and fiery, known to often lose their temper on the sidelines. I feel sorry for any official who makes a questionable call this weekend. Every once in a while, if you pay very close attention at the end of the game (if the outcome goes their way), you can see a very pleased smile on the face of the Harbaugh boys. A smile that would make their family dentist proud! At the end of the day, only one will stand victorious and be worthy of kissing the Vince Lombardi trophy. The outcome of the game will definitely go down in the record books as one of the most memorable sporting events the world has seen.
